Mubasher: Al Maha Ceramics Company reported a 13% year-on-year rise in its profits for the second quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.

Profits reached OMR 698,200 ($1.8 million) in Q2-16, compared to OMR 615,430 ($1.6 million) in Q2-15.

In the first half of 2016, profits declined 6% to OMR 1.33 million from OMR 1.25 million generated in the prior-year period.

Total revenues reached OMR 4.92 million in H1-15, compared to OMR 5.05 million in H1-16.
